Spot the planet

Have your ever gazed at night sky and wondered the bright star above is actually a planet or the star, little brighter than other ? Here are some hints to spot them.

you can differentiate Star and Planet by it's color or steadiness of light.
"Star generates their own light whereas planets only reflect light".

The visible planets are Mercury, Venus , Mars, Jupiter and Saturn. Venus and Jupiter are very bright , especially venus a bright white color and Jupiter a golden white - though both of them are stunning. Mars is close to orange !  saturn , a pale yellow and Mercury , a greyish white color which is  hardest to spot than all .
The unique thing  about Venus is , unlike other planets they can't be found at any time . they are seen just before sunrise or just after sunset, they never appear fully on the night. They are called as Evening or Morning stars ( although they are not stars) .The main thing to remember is that stars twinkle whereas planets won't .

There are so many things to learn from universe..Be curious, look up and stay amazed !
